Performance

Conveniently located in South Edmonton, our studio is a vibrant hub for dancers of all ages and skill levels.

For students 6-15 years of age (by March 1, 2026), our performance team is a division of our competitive programming, which offers a weekly training schedule that provides families flexibility. Students have the option of training anywhere from 1-6 hours per week, while still reaping the benefits of a competitive team environment.

We are thrilled to offer our performance team for the 2025/2026 season to include three different levels; Beginner, Novice and Intermediate. Dancers will initially register based on their age, however, Dance Discovery will decide final placement after we consider a dancers experience and ability.

Each performance team will prepare a routine that they will perform three times in the season; two local competitions in April/May, as well as the annual year end recital in June.

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
To qualify for the performance program, dancers are required to have a minimum of one year of completed training in the style they register for. To ensure a positive stage experience, additional weekly practice at home will be expected. To assist parents in supporting their dancer, access to a private classroom app with weekly updates directly from their child’s instructor is provided.

PROGRAM COST
Pricing is dependent on how many hours a week a dancer is training. Once you have selected the classes you are interested in taking (based on our schedule below), please contact us for accurate pricing
