Dance Discovery’s newest program for dancers 4 and 5 years of age! Hip Hop Totz is a fun high energy class that lays a good foundation in Hip Hop while exposing the students to a variety of hip hop styles. These students focus on their development of greater body awareness, flexibility, coordination skills, musicality and ability to focus and take instruction. We teach classroom etiquette as well as develop teamwork skills while working with other students. Upon completion of the program, students have developed an enthusiasm towards dance with a strong foundation in hip hop that includes the elements of freestyle, popping and locking.

To build our dancers confidence and celebrate their achievements, Hip Hop Totz perform in two professional stage performances in the season; A Winter Recital in January as well as a Year End Recital in June.

Access to a private classroom app for each individual class is also part of your program enrollment! Monthly video posts will allow you to stay updated on what we have been working on in class and assist parents in staying connected to their child’s dance journey. We will also use the app to provide reminders on important updates or events happening within the studio that are specific to your program.

REQUIREMENTS
Students must be 4-5 years of age by March 1, 2026

COST
Hip Hop Totz is a 30 min weekly class at $708 annually. Your annual fee includes your lessons for the term and your recital costume! Fees are payable in 4 installments; full details on payment procedures can be found on our policies page.

SESSION
Hip Hop Totz is part of our Full-Year Program; the next session will commence September 6, 2025 and conclude June 13, 2026.
